Our independent service station on the Main West Coast Road between Christchurch and Darfield has been operating since 1960 and for 33 years as a family run business.
We provide excellent customer service and a wide range of services to our local community and farming and contracting businesses in the area. Being situated in a rural residential town and farming catchment our customer base is varied and so our services have to reflect that.
Hot food, drinks and grocery lines form a strong part of shop business. We also sell/swap 9kg LPG bottles. We are New Zealand Post agents and process mail for our Private Box Holders.
Our staff are our 'jewel' providing friendly, efficient and caring service both in the shop and on the forecourt. Customer service is our focus!
Our workshop staff are headed by Hamish, another long serving family member who has all the knowledge and know about repairs and maintenance of all your motor vehicles We also have all the latest scan tools, so whatever the problem we will find it and fix it!
Come and check us out and please let us know what you think, your business is our future.
Our community is our lifeblood. While we do get many customers from out of town, our locals are what we represent.
To that we try to give as much back by way of sponsorship and support of a range of organisations like the local rugby and netball clubs, our local A&P Show and many more.
We have two members of staff who are volunteer fire fighters; one is the local fire chief and the other is a station officer and engine driver – both provide around the clock emergency fire and medical services to the local community.
By selling firewood from the service station we are able to help the local fire brigade with their fundraising for equipment purchase so they can continue to provide services to the community.
