Challenge Gift cards are a great choice for friends, family, staff, or volunteers. They can be purchased from any Challenge station and used for fuel or in-store purchases. 

  • Loaded with any value between $20 and $500.
  • Valid for 36 months from purchase.
  • Available at all Challenge stations and redeemable in-store (not redeemable at outdoor payment terminals).

Check your card balance

You can view your balance and recent transactions through the Cardholder portal. To log in, you’ll need:

  • Your 16-digit card number
  • Your access code.

Both these numbers can be found on the back of the card.

What are the Challenge Gift Card Terms and Conditions of use?

Redeemable at any Challenge site in New Zealand. The Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash, gift cards, prepaid vouchers, refunded or exchanged. No change given. Unused balance may be applied to future purchases until the card has expired. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.

What happens if a Gift Card is lost or stolen?

Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced. This may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a card is lost, we can suspend the card and remove the value.

What if the cost of goods is higher than the Gift card balance?

Gift cards can be used in conjunction with other forms of payment.

When are funds loaded onto a Gift card available to be used?

Value can be used as soon as it is loaded into the card.

Is there a limit to the number of times a Gift card can be used in a day?

Gift cards can be used as often as required until there is no remaining balance.

  5. Any unused sum on the gift card expires 36 months from the date the gift card was purchased.
  6. We may in our sole discretion place a stop on the use of a gift card if a gift card is reported to us as being lost or stolen or if we believe it may be used contrary to these terms and conditions or contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
