About us
Sunshine Service Station is on the road to the lovely suburb or Eastbourne on the eastern side of Wellington Harbour and has been providing fuel to the area for over 80 years.
We have been running it for the last 20 years, with all the staff having lived in Eastbourne for many years, we are on first name basis with many of our customers.
This is enhanced by the fact that we pour as much of the fuel as possible which is well appreciated by many of our customers who constantly remark about our "service" station even our opposition has discovered the importance of forecourt service, we suggest you check the "service" for yourself.
Our community of Eastbourne includes many beachs and bays. Days Bay is one where you can swim and access the many tracks that lead into the bush.
Eastbourne provides the same with the bush tracks leading to butterfly creek a popular picnic spot.
Other Eastbourne attractions include the numerous cafe's, a coastal walk or bike hire to the Pencarrow & Baring Head Lighthouses. Bowling, Tennis, Rugby, Soccer and Yacht clubs with numerous other groups and organisations.
We have a council community board chaired by Derek one of our regular customers who enjoys the banter and information a local service station can provide, and our volunteer fire brigade also regard our station as essential to the community.
